Sunspots ??? Print

Global Warming ???

ask all the SNOW in my Yard!

but then after the 772 days of this

solar minimum when we had NO sunspots

we were in all likelyhood going to have a

Long, Cold, and Snowy (here in Missouri)

winter, (last time conditions were similar was during the last minimum of the 1960's)

where we then had more than normal snow levels and cold.

Image

Right at the Moment we have a FEW sunspots,

1 appears to be from last cycle (1047)

The other two 1046 (newest)  and 1045 (now fading after being a monster one)

with this activity we are about where we were last year at this time,

new cycle sunspots coming on though most were small.

We shall have to wait and see!

On February from now through the 14th

we should have improved HF conditions,

there have been multiple Ejections from coronal holes, and from sunspot 1045.

There is a 50% chance of a Major Solar Flare, but DON'T Expect to see

the Aurora here in Missouri from this activity.

Hopefully the cycle has ATUALLY started
