Members of The Phelps County Amateur

Radio Technical Society,

Have been reporting improving band conditions across the hf spectrum this month due to the FINAL re-appeance of sunspots this year (as of now less than 3% of the year without a sunspot of some sort).

Most of the sunspots noted this year are still of the 'microspot' type but there has certainly been an upswing in the number.

Last week there were reports of EUROPE on 12, 15, + 17 meter bands!

Beginning to look GOOD there!

Hopefully it will continue to improve, today there are 4 sunspot areas noted by SOHO.
